Key Responsibilities
Solution design and architecture
Owning the technical design of AI solutions built on Timbal, from discovery to production.
Architecting agentic workflows, LLM pipelines, and integrations for complex enterprise environments.
Making pragmatic decisions on models, orchestration, infrastructure, and data.
Defining reference architectures, patterns, and best practices that scale across clients, balancing ambition with reliability.
Client enablement and delivery
Working directly with enterprise clients to understand their processes, systems, and goals.
Leading technical discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-value builds.
Building solutions for clients, and teaching clients to build them with Timbal themselves, turning them into power users.
Acting as the trusted technical voice in the room across pre-sales, delivery, and beyond, and turning successful deployments into repeatable playbooks.
Hands-on building
Building prototypes, demos, and production-grade implementations with the Timbal platform.
Working daily with APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and modern AI tooling, and automating everything that deserves to be automated.
Product and platform impact
Using Timbal harder than anyone: spotting friction, missing pieces, and killer features before anyone else, and making sure they get built.
Shaping the technical narrative of Timbal through documentation, technical content, and enablement.
Required Qualifications
3–6 years of experience as a solution architect, sales engineer, ML engineer, or software engineer in B2B SaaS or tech.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and modern AI tooling.
Strong software engineering fundamentals: APIs, integrations, cloud, and data.
Essential Skills and Experience
An engineering mindset and a builder’s instinct: you think in systems, architectures, trade-offs, and constraints.
The ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and executives, bringing clarity where others bring complexity.
Speed: you prototype fast, validate faster, and iterate constantly.
High autonomy, ownership mentality, and bias toward action.
Bonus: experience in startups, consulting, or working closely with founders.
